Description
Vbox version: 4.0.12r72916 Guest: Debian 6 with guest additions installed
Started happening after last 1 or 2 updates to Virtual Box.
Might be running for a few days, then suddenly the Vbox window goes kind of misty or smokey and totally non-responsive - Windows says the application in not responding. Need to kill it.

same here, it's crashing everytime now cannot use my windows 7 vm now.
I have a windows 7 64 bit host. windows 7 64 bit guest. I'll attach my dump files please let me know how to fix it won't let me pull up the vm.

found out it was the "enable usb" if you un-check this in the settings it stops crashing

In that case it is likely that this problem is fixed in VBox 4.1.2. Please reopen if still reproducible with VBox 4.1.2.
