But caps lock states IS KEEPED separate. In guest system CapsLock changes only keyboard layout. If I want to change keyboard layout in guest system, I enable CAPS BUTTONS on host system. It definitely BAD!

Perhaps it would help if you described the situation in which this is causing you a problem?

I use CapsLock in guest system as key for change keyboard layout. Any time I returns to host system I must see at keyboard to determine current CapsLock status. I'm tired of it. If I use Punto Switcher on host system to change keyboard layout by CapsLock key, I can't change keyboard layout on guest system because of Punto Switcher changes it back!

I'm tempted to answer that you shouldn't use caps lock in a guest to change the layout (are no other keys or combinations available?), but can you suggest a better way to handle this which won't inconvenience the vast majority of users who don't use this and who benefit from having the caps lock state consistent in guest and host?

Oh, I press Caps to change layout automatically for years :) You can make additional option for geeks like me.

We could, but we don't have the resources to implement features which aren't useful for the majority. You could contribute a patch though.

Keeping seperate caps lock states for guest and host would be a bad solution.
