vditool DUMP rendered a very useful information which I cannot get with VBoxManage, although many people claim it to be a full substitute for vditool. I am forced to develop my work with version 1.6.6 of VirtualBox.
Please, make VBoxManage provide the same information that vditool did.

Right now you can use
VBoxManage internalcommands dumphdinfo /path/to/imageDon't remember when that command was added, it surely was already in VirtualBox 3.0.
This is of course not the final place for that facility, however it should work for the few users which want that information for now.
