Description
Some things should be reconfigurable without having to restart a VM. For example: serial console redirection, possibly networking, and certainly port forwarding for NAT cases, as well as adding/removing disks (where supported by the emulated hardware), USB, ...

Adding/removing disks is not supported by virtual hardware. This would require emulating plug-n-play USB hard disks.
Networking is now on-the-fly configurable, but not NAT ports. (Vbox 3.1)
USB is also dynamic now. Shared folders are dynamic too.
We must split this wish into smaller separate wishes.
