USB HID-Device don't working (installing with problems occured)

I'm running Guest WindowsXP SP2 on Host Ubuntu 9.04 32-bit. I attached USB HID-Device (Digital Pen Pegasus Notes Taker), which using standard HID-driver in WindowsXP (like USB-Mouse). Device was found by guest, but problems with installation occurs, and device didn't work (seen with exclamation mark in Device Manager).

I also confirm this. Host Kubuntu 64bit, Guests WinXP, Vista, Win7.
Guest findes Device and identifies it as HID, thats correct. But Guest states that "Device can not be started (Code 10)" (that a translation from the german errormessage).
Unloading usbhid does not help. I thougt that usbhid was a bit greedy but thats not the case. Since usbhid seems to be the only modul that claims that device i have no idea how to solve that problem myself.
If there logs or files that would help to provide a solution let me know what you need.

I have the same problem with the Pegasus Digital Pen. version 4.1.8 of virtualBox running windowsXP guest ubuntu lucid host Updated XP to all the latest updates

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
I confirm the bug : I have exactly the same problem with the same device. Really interested by a solution
