i got problem with diskspace on virtualbox

i've made vdi image (dynamicaly expanding) 2gb, but when installing new virtual machine, disk space on my /dev/hda* was exhausted. virtual machine freezes and i couldn't even close the vbox window.

You mean, your host disk space exhausted? In that case you should get a message box which is reporting you that there is not enough disk space. Could you attach the VBox.log file from that session?

yes, i mean the host disk space exhaustion. i'm afraid, that all the logs from the situation are gone (rewritten by next vm start). i've made some free space and it works. maybe i will simulate the situation later and send the results. stalled, for now.
