Unable to use input method in VirtualBox installed via .run

Description
I'm using Arch Linux with Fcitx5 as input method.
I'm using the VirtualBox from AUR package https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/virtualbox-bin, which extracts the .run installer.
The current situation is that the input method is not working in the VirtualBox GUI.
The VirtualBox lacks libfcitx5platforminputcontextplugin.so this library, which is needed for Fcitx5 to work normally.
