Description
See attached screenshot for the error encountered.
Reproducable for me via:
- Download a Linux Virtualbox image, I tried a couple, the following Kubuntu image is the last one I tried:
https://www.osboxes.org/kubuntu/
- Create a new image. Linux, Ubuntu, 64-bit, 4GB RAM.
- Attach a USB device, set settings to USB 3.0. The device in question for me is a Seagate portable HDD.
- Start the machine. It will begin to start and will encounter the null reference error and abort. Screenshot attached.
It appears that not attaching the USB device will allow the system to boot.
