5.1.12 Kills All USB ports when switching between machines

Description
On Mac mini using IO Gear keyboard,monitor switch box to switch between two computers using same keyboard & monitor, when keyboard is switched off & then switched back to mac, ALL the USB ports on the mac are disabled. Am unable to plug in different keyboard to USB ports to regain control. only fix is to reboot mac with power button. This only occurred with 5.1.12 update. ALL USB ports are disabled even on the MAC side, not just the VM side.

Uninstalled VB, then re-installed VB & added VM, fixed it.
