Description
Host: Fedora 24 (4.8.7-200.fc24.x86_64), Gnome 3.20, VirtualBox Version 5.1.8 r111374 (Qt5.6.1)
affected Guest OS':
- Win7pro with current guest additions installed, all MS updated installed
- Win8.1pro with current guest additions installed.
Problem: When I restore a full-screen guest OS window, it is not shown in fullscreen but I do see a top panel from my host os. Guest OS is displayed with an offset.
Please see the following screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/1RZmn
Note: I did not have this problem with VirtualBox 5.0.x

I updated Virtualbox today to Version 5.1.10 r112026 (Qt5.6.1) and the problem persists. My Fedora 24 running Gnome 3.20 is up-to-date (not using Wayland, but good old Xorg)

Please attach a log file from a run of the virtual machine (this contains lots of useful information about the machine set-up and about your host system) and please test whether disabling 3D pass-through makes a difference, assuming it is enabled.
