What are the reasons for changing the network card on Intel PRO 1000 . Widows XP and with the previous PCnet-FAST III card worked perfectly.

I asked this question because I use ReactOS is the open source version of windows xp. https://www.215389.xyz/ticket/5598 Please add the open source os (ReactOS) to Virtual Box. Profile as in Windows XP, but with a network card that was in the old VirtualBox (PCnet-FAST III (AM79C973)).

Sorry, this is a bug tracker, not a forum for asking questions. Regarding your question: The E1000 model we select for new VMs is supposed to work with Windows XP. In general the E1000 emulation is faster than the PCnet emulation.
