+Going forward I think I have been taking wrong approach. Importing machine is more/too advanced. It is better to start simple for example to answer question first: is it possible to run 'a' virtualbox vm on Ubuntu? Then proceed from there. Most likely that won't work too and then it will be easier to start debugging VirtualBox from there.
+In any case, VM is now starting but no network
+It seems it is not possible to see the IP when doing bridged but I also don't see a new device on my router so my conclusion for now is that it is not working.
+I see the nic info, it looks okay
