1		Is there a reason why you are using usbfs (at least, it looks like you are), which has been deprecated for six or seven years now? Could you please provide the output of "VBoxManage list usbhost", run as the user who runs VirtualBox, as well as "ls -lR /dev/vboxusb" just after triggering an error like you described (and please include the device address from the error as well).
