Network Adapter breaks iPass — at Initial Version

Description
When I connect to my corporate WiFi network with iPass and the VirtualBox Host-Only Network adaptor is installed, I get "General Failure" when I even try to ping an IP address from the host, and all network connectivity is down.
Disabling the VirtualBox Host-Only Adaptor alows networking to run as usual.
This is without VB even running.
